BECOME A PARTNER
Our Programs
Pasadena Media’s programs give community members of all ages and abilities the tools to learn, create, and share their stories through hands-on media training.
By partnering with us—through your time, expertise, services, or financial support—you help broaden access to creative education and open new pathways for emerging storytellers. Together, we can amplify local voices, spark creativity, and build a stronger, more connected, media-literate Pasadena.

01
Summer Media Training Fellowship
Our Summer Media Fellowship brings together students from Pasadena and beyond to explore the fundamentals of media production through hands-on training and collaborative workshops.

Throughout the fellowship, participants build real-world skills in filming, editing, and storytelling as they work together to create a polished final project that reflects their growth, creativity, and technical confidence.
02
Capstone Production Program
Designed for high school seniors and in partnership with local journalism professionals, our Capstone Production Program provides dedicated support for students completing their required senior projects.
Participants build on the technical production skills gained through Pasadena Media and apply journalism-based learning—across broadcast, sports, and general reporting—to create a professional, story-driven final piece.
With guidance from our team, students transform their capstone ideas into compelling productions that demonstrate mastery, creativity, and real-world media proficiency.

03
Media Access Pathways Program
The Media Access Pathways Program—created in partnership with ReDesign Learning and the Department of Rehabilitation—provides supportive, hands-on media training for individuals looking to develop new creative and technical skills.
Participants explore production, storytelling, and digital media at their own pace, working alongside Pasadena Media staff in an encouraging, inclusive environment.
The program focuses on building confidence, expanding career readiness, and empowering each participant to create meaningful projects that reflect their unique voice and talents.
04
Next Horizons Media Collective
Next Horizons Media Collective empowers adults 55+ to explore new skills, express their creativity, and shape their next chapter.
Through our partnership with SER California, participants receive hands-on media and workplace training to support career transitions and professional growth. In collaboration with local nonprofits, we also offer workshops where older adults can imagine, design, and produce their own media projects.
Together, these experiences foster confidence, creativity, and connection—helping participants bring their ideas to life and share their stories with the community.
