Content Submission and Cablecast Agreement
By submitting this content (including, but not limited to, audio, video, and still images) for cablecast on Pasadena Media’s Arroyo Channel, I certify that I am authorized to submit this material and have the legal right to provide it to Pasadena Media for broadcast and related uses.
Grant of Rights
I grant Pasadena Media a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, cablecast, distribute, display, and promote the submitted content for the purpose of providing community programming and related services. This permission includes the right to air the content on the Arroyo Channel and, where applicable, make the content available through Pasadena Media’s website, streaming platforms, digital archives, social media channels, promotional materials, and other Pasadena Media platforms.
This license does not transfer ownership of the submitted content. I retain all ownership rights to my program and its underlying materials, subject to the rights granted to Pasadena Media under this agreement.
Responsibility for Content
I acknowledge that the submitted program(s) comply with the Arroyo Channel Rules & Policies and that I am solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of all materials submitted.
I assume full responsibility for the submitted program(s) and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pasadena Media, its officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to the submission, cablecast, distribution, or use of the submitted content, including but not limited to claims involving copyright infringement, libel, slander, privacy violations, or other alleged violations of law.
Programming Schedule and Media Retention
I understand that Pasadena Media reserves the right to schedule, reschedule, interrupt, decline, or otherwise modify the cablecast of submitted programming at its discretion and for any reason.
I acknowledge that Pasadena Media is not responsible for retaining submitted media or files beyond thirty (30) days from submission or cablecast unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
By submitting this content, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Content Submission and Cablecast Agreement.
