Pranav Kalyan is an 8th grader at Lindero Canyon Middle School. At the age of 9, Pranav become the youngest person to receive his Microsoft Technology Specialist Certificaiton. At the age of 13, he went on to earn his associates degree from Moorpark College in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. As Founder and President of the Agoura Math Circle, which he started in his parents garage, Pranav is dedicated to helping his peers master problem solving skills. In only a year, Pranav's classroom grow from 5 kids to 200 registered students with about 150 showing up regularly. AMC is free to all students and is now held at Agoura High School. Pranav strongly believes if young people are thought the right way, everyone can be great at math. He is currently working towards earning a degree in Astrophysics, Chemistry and Physics. His goal is to work with NASA to help advance space exploration. He idolizes Bill Gates and hopes to meet him soon. Pranav has been featured on several news outlets such as CBS2, Times of India, Venture Beat, New Europe, International Business Times and much more!
